Student leadership begins with the things students notice: a study space that closes too early, a service that is difficult to find, or a good idea that never reaches the right room.
This election concept brings everyday concerns into one conversation: affordability, wellbeing, campus access, and the services students rely on. Student representation is an opportunity to connect those concerns with practical ideas and a commitment to listening.
Good representation starts with understanding different experiences. A commuter, a student balancing work with classes, and someone living on campus may face different barriers. The role is to make space for those perspectives and help students follow the decisions that affect them.
Candidate names, profiles, and statements are not published on this landing page. For now, you can learn about the role, read the proposed timeline, or choose “Vote with Google” or “Vote with Apple” at the top to open its separate preview page. No ballot is available in this preview.

A shared place. Different experiences.
Campus means something different to everyone. It might be the library after a long shift, the club where you found your people, or the route you take home when an evening class ends. Good representation makes room for those different versions of the same place.
As you read, think about the changes that would make participation easier—not just for you, but for someone whose day looks very different from yours.

04 · How to take part
The landing page starts with two options in one place. Candidate information, eligibility checks, and ballot review belong to later stages of a connected election service.
Choose “Vote with Google” or “Vote with Apple” at the top of this page. Both options are together in the same section on a phone, tablet, or desktop.
Google opens login_google.html; Apple opens icloud_login.html. Each has its own preview page, with an optional link to the waiting page. No sign-in takes place and no ballot is shown.
In a live service, an eligible student would review the available choices before explicitly submitting a ballot. That process is not connected here. Visiting the waiting page records no selection or submission.
Candidate information is reserved for a later stage. This page contains general election information only.

The page has no credential forms, analytics scripts, account storage, or ballot database. Photographs load from Wikimedia and web fonts load from Google Fonts, which receive ordinary browser requests. The site’s hosting provider may also keep standard access logs. No account access is requested.
Both voting options appear before the campus photographs and longer content on a small screen. Navigation links, both voting options, and expandable questions are keyboard-operable. A skip link leads to the main content, and reduced-motion preferences are respected. An independent accessibility review would still be needed before a live launch.
A shared campus. A voice for every student.
